that the developers are using. If the developers are using NT, it's best to
use an
NT-based IDE. If you had said the developers were each running Solaris then

Solaris-based IDE would have been preferable.
IDEs have enough problems with bigness and slowness. Running one remotely
through a terminal emulator just adds to the problems. Also, there are a
lot more
choices available on NT than on Solaris.

We are looking for an IDE for Java specially made for Solaris i.e native to
Solaris. We have NT workstation PCs. We run these IDE's from PCs using unix
terminal Emulator e.g Exceed. Although we have tried Forte and Elixir,they
run very slow when run from NT workstation PCs.
Can anybody recommend any faster speed IDE on Solaris.
