HI all,

I have a java application which runs off a .bat file.

Also there are many resource files in the home directory which are
referenced by my app.

This application works with files of an extention .myext.

What I want to do is this in Windows XP

1) Associate files of extention .myext with an icons (Done through
registry settings)

2) Create a desktop short cut (done through registry). Also I'm able to
specify "Start In" directory pointing to my home directory.

This is where I'm stuck

3) Double click on a file with .myext to launch the app.

On creating registry entries for file association, the application is
launched all right, but the 'start' directory is not my 'app home'
directory.

What are the registry entries for doing this?

What is the best way out?

Need a quick resolution of this.

Thanks
