Hi Zhang,

Thanks for the suggestion. This did not help however: the problem
persists. Also I checked the required libraries, and I have the
following verions:

glib-2.0 version 2.16.3
babl version 0.0.23
libpng version 1.2.15beta5

I have also also Ruby 1.8.6 and all the optional libraies installed.
