Hi, I was asked to post a volunteer note to the list.

I'd be happy to help mentor. I don't know much about GEGL, but I help
maintain a demand-driven image processing library (vips,
http://www.vips.ecs.soton.ac.uk), so I know a bit about profiling and
performance tuning. I'm also a mentor on panotools.
