I guess I missed that GIMP had moved to Subversion.   Looking on the net it 
appears that this was announced to the gimp-developer list on Dec. 30, 2006.  
Looking at my gimp-developer email folder it appears that for some reason I 
did not receive that particular email.  So that would explain why I missed 
the announcement.  I will test with the svn version but if it is working for 
Sven it is likely to be OK.
