[Gimp-developer] CPT import in GIMP

Hello.

One of the features I miss in GIMP is an ability to import Corel
PHOTO-PAINT layered format (.cpt). I have started to analyze CPT file
format, and to help myself I wrote in my spare time little program to
parse and get some useful info from these files. However, I have no
time at the moment to develop it further, so I have decided to public
the source code.

I'm sending this post in the hope that it could be useful to develop
such plugin/functionality in GIMP. Code is rather ugly, because I'm
not an experienced C developer, but I will try to provide  as much
help on request (at least on things I remember) as possible, if anyone
is interested in.
