I'm not sure if we should really do that. I think most of the content of
the (current) abandoned languages is still valid and in my opinion we
should carry them further until GIMP 2.6.

If we remove most of the translations, authors have to start again
translating the text and we have the work removing those languages.

In my opinion, we should ignore the 'abandoned' translations. It might
makes sense to delete the translation if you make huge structural
changes.
