So, it works on your system. This should mean that there is something 
wrong with my Cygwin or my computer. As told before, I'm not able to

Yes, the po files are not updated since the days of xml, 
January/February or so. I have rewritten the glossary.po to correct the 
errors. But alas there is no sorting at all.
