which system? i386/amd-64/ppc?
with compiled options? dbus enabled?
Since in the 7.04 it seems (to me) that gimp 2.4 do not comes already
compiled (in 7.10 ther's a 2.4.0rc...) and packaged...
is it the version you are actually using compiled by yourself or a
binary tar ball, a snapshot or else?
Please be more detailed when asking help!
