[Gimp-user] GIMP suddenly gimpy!

Looking at the unicode indices, it appears that GIMP is running in
english. But for some reason the font that is being used for the user
interface does not seem to provide the glyphs needed to render this.

Did you change your system font or any other fonts? Did you change any
libraries that are used for font rendering?

What version of GIMP are you using anyway and where did you get it from?
