Because it's easier to discard the phrase 'mmmaybe' than to discard
the phrase 'beta site' after this new site has gone live. 'beta site'
may apply to any of the betas for www.gimp.org between when the first
site went live and eternity. 'Mmmaybe' could just apply to the
current instance of the beta site for www.gimp.org.

Of course, as I said, it would be much easier if 'www.gimp.org' were
to be its own 'product' in Bugzilla, so that we could assign version
numbers or names. The release cycle of www.gimp.org is not the same
as that for the GIMP itself.
