I do not know what you are refering to, but I don't think that there
are many (if any) discussions about the site that are taking place
outside this list. In fact, I am trying to encourage everybody to
discuss the web-related stuff on this list instead of using private
e-mail, so that everybody can participate in the discussion. The only
recent example that I am aware of is a couple of mails sent by Dave
who is (was) not on this list, but I hope that he has subscribed in
the meantime.

I do not understand why you seem to be frustrated all of a sudden.
Maybe I shouldn't have insisted so much about some changes that I
needed. But I thought that it would be better if I let you do them.
Anyway, I hope that you have reconsidered your decision in the
meantime and that you will keep on contributing.

That was not clear for me. I wanted to let you improve your code
instead of starting to mess it up myself. Also, some of the previous
comments (removed since then, in the CSS for example) were more along
the lines of "don't touch this, let those who know do it for you". I
am paraphrasing, of course, but this generally made me think that it
would be better to let you work on the parts to which you had
contributed the most.

OK. Note that I am thinking about using Perl in some places, but
probably not right now. I will try to fix as much as I can and get a
working build before starting to work on some other improvements. I
would really like to have a working site as soon as possible.
