I don't feel comfortable linking to the commercial sites of Mat
Caughron and Cameron Gregory without any further qualifications,
because both seem to pretend that their share in the GIMP is more
important than it really is. Cameron claims copyright on all of
FTGIMP without even mentioning that most of the program is someone
else's work (and thus someone else's copyright); Mat suggests that
his site is the official site for all things GIMP for Windows.
Notice how I say 'seem', 'suggest' et cetera: nowhere do they
actually claim that all or most of the GIMPs they sell is their
creation. However, by linking to them in a prominent matter from wgo,
I feel we are validating their suggestions, and I don't think we
should do that. If we do link to them, we should make clear what the
deal is and also (if possible) mention what the added value of the
commercial products is, so that it is clear that most of the products
they're selling is not owned, controlled or made by them, but by the
GIMP community at large.

This is too much credit: I still left some pages untouched, because
they had a lay-out that made it hard to look for the problems:
><DIV
CLASS="SECT1"
><H1
CLASS="SECT1"
><A
NAME="SUPPORT-MODULES"
>Support Modules</A
></H1
><P

of constants to storing persistent data.</P
><DIV
et cetera.
It's (some of?) the HTML files in the docs directory.
Can anybody tell me if there's a good reason why they're formatted
like this?
