It is currently named mmmaybe.gimp.org. This is not a very good name,
so I agree with you: we need to come up with a new name. We decided
to rename it www.gimp.org. That should be much better.

Making sure that all GIMP users get a better web site. I think this
is a nice goal.
And now for the slightly more serious part: the removal of the link to
the contest was necessary because some parts of it are not working
correctly and it is better to hide it for the moment until a proper
fix can be made. The resources section is not removed, but it is
simply not shown in the menu. This was probably triggered by the
discussion in this bug report:

Anyway, I firmly support scizzo's choice to remove these two links
from the menu. They are not essential for the launch of the new web
site and it is better to get a bit more time to improve these
sections. So I thank him for that, and I think that your comments are
not really productive.
