Well, this should really be taken off-list, but maybe a public reply
would limit the damage before it is too late:
You are not fired. Carol has no authority to dictate who can and who
cannot contribute to the GIMP web site. This is not (or not anymore)
a toy project that can be discarded at any time because someone is in
a bad mood: this is the new official GIMP web site and there is no
excuse for trying to discourage those who have made the most important
contributions to it.
It should be very clear that the gimp-web team is open to everyone.
"Firing" contributors would be ridiculous. Except in very serious
cases, which would cause the revokation of the gnomecvs account,
nobody has the authority to do that -- including myself, the current
coordinator of the new web site.
Please stay in the team. Anyone who looks at the ChangeLog (not only
in the last few days) can easily see who has done the real work.

P.S.: And if Carol would threaten to remove the gimp-web module from
CVS and therefore break the web site and discard all valuable
contributions from the members of this team, that would
certainly be a sufficient reason to have her gnomecvs account
revoked. I think (I hope) that she knows it and would never do
such a thing. So you can relax: it was probably not more than
a threat that will never materialize.
