Hi Jakub,

I gave the imagebox another chance and added the scaling. I think it is
faster than the lightbox thingy ?! 
Now we should have support for Safari browsers and the scaling - phew.

A few things:

    * I don't know if the scaling should work for Safari browsers. If
    so, check the lines between 531 and 544 and turn off my condition
    which checks if the user uses a non-safari browser.

    * I customized the patch a bit and the imagebox has now an option
    'maxWidth' which I set to 800. Initially this should be set to 0 of
    course and set outside this file to 800 (or whatever size it should
    be).

    * I added two CSS defs in wgo.css to set the max-width of the image
    itself to 800px. The above patch only sets the aspect ratio of the
    container. Move those css defs wherever they should be located ...

Let me know if anything goes wrong :)

If it's working now, I guess we could alter the HTML of the splash
screen archive?
