If you try konqueror, it behaves much like safari 2. You can also build
a recent webkit with the gdk backend even. It has a simple 'browser',
but in the end you can also build epiphany with webkit -
http://live.gnome.org/Epiphany/WebKit

But it's not a matter of 5 minutes :)
