[Gimp-web] Moving to new site

Dear All,

I have just sent out an announcement to the authors in the old
registry to inform them about the new site. See
http://registry.gimp.org/move.html

See http://gimp-registry.fargonauten.de/node/19 for the plans for the
future and feel free to comment!

This might come as somewhat of a surprise so sudden but the reason is
that I was trying for quite some time to find a reasonable method of
automatically porting the old content. I have explained in the mail
why that did not happen: Basically, I was lacking both information and
time and then, the structure changed enough to make it not so
worthwhile.  I hope the authors will cope! I also promised to myself
to get this thing out of the door before the year was over ;-)

Let me take this opportunity to thank the people who checked out the
first iteration of the new site and gave comments and helped out -- in
particular Michael!

So, now its New Years Eve, after that recovery from New Years Eve and
from the 2nd on, you'll find me again in #gimp-web :)
