[Gimp-web] Redesign Proposal

I agree with Ronnie's proposal.
That new site structure would be easier to navigate and easier to be understood by the common user.
The current downloads section is quite confusing for non-tech people. It would be nice to provide precompiled packages for the main Linux distros as well.
Technically it would be nice if the current layout is changed for a tableless layout, using only CSS styles for design (for every element, not just text styling). This would allow to change the complete design of the site anytime editing only a couple of styles sheets. 
I think Blender's site is a good example of a good site for an open source project.
Some hilights I love in blender's site: How the features are displayed, Feature videos, DL section, Art gallery.
I like the way the things are arranged. I find it very usable and readable.
The quick links in the bottom panel are very useful too.

I'll try to make a little mockup for this layout and post it here.
