Hi Roman.

I haven't thought broadly about this. Some consistency would be nice. I
can totally share your excitement about having w.g.o, docs.g.o and
developer.g.o share the same look. As I have no idea how much time I can
spend on this, I started with a narrow goal to make a quick face-lift
for the main site. We're a graphics program, not a partitioning tool.
W.g.o is quite boring. Not terrible at all, just a little 1990.

The changes to the structure are minimal (just replacing the main table
with div blocks).

The developer site is pretty much all text, which is best read black on
white. For developer.gimp.org, the up to date content is more important
than presentation. Personally I'm not planning on working on
devel.gimp.org in the near future. Styling doesn't have that much impact
there. Though I don't think it will be much work to take the stylesheet
there. Simply a matter of changing a few colors. Color coding is a minor
issue in my eyes. The sites just need to be nicely interlinked and
having the same layout.

cheers
