Thanks a lot for these nice videos! I have added links to them in the
release notes for 2.4. I haven't added links to the hi-res versions
because I am not sure if and how we should add them.
In case you would like to re-do and improve the Foreground Select
video, here are some suggestions: the resolution of your screen is a
bit too high, so it is very difficult to see the selected area. Using
a lower-resolution screen (or a smaller captured area) would make
these details more visible. Also, using a lower-resolution image
would make the tool work faster. And finally, you could do less brush
strokes in the initial selection: after all, the goal of that tool is
that you should do a few broad brush strokes over your image and the
hope for the best. As long as your brush covers most of the colors
that need to be selected, then this should work fine (remember, the
colors are the important things, not the areas). Anyway, these
suggestions are only useful if you want to re-do the video. But I am
already happy to have something to include in the page, so thanks again!
