[Gimp-web] http://registry.gimp.org:81 - goal for 2.4?

Hi,

Michael, thanks for bringing this up again. First some additions from me on
what is/was missing:

   1. There is good news on the server side. As I might have mentioned
before, the test machine (with port 81) was severely resource
limited. Fortunately, in the meantime we have put a new box into production
and I moved the test-site over there. In the process, I have also put the
site on port 80. The new URL is
       http://gimp-registry.fargonauten.de/
This name is strictly temporary and for development only! Once the
new registry is ready for production, we can use the old name again.
   2. One other blocker was easy import of the old information. I have
now found a possible solution for that: The "nodeimport" module. I will test
   this out further today.

There is also the content-type "Script", which is intended for script-fus in
the various languages. We could easily have even more types, Drupals Content
Construction Kit makes that very easy. The real limitation is user cognition
-- too many content types is confusing, IMHO.

Keep in mind that we can make some distinctions (such as which language a
Script is in) using the category system. We don't need a new type for
that. New types should have substantial differences, e.g. a "C plugin"
could have a binary attachment field whereas a Script would not.

What kind of content-types do we need, in your opinion?

I'm still looking into this.

This is configured as such and can be extended. I'm looking into as part of
the above item.

This is possible already: Add an image attachment and insert a link to the
image.

cheers
