And could it be redesigned so as not to require such a wide window?
The next.gimp.org stuff mostly resizes pretty well, but the new
registry wants a window at least 1000px wide.
It will have a search function, right? With the old registry,
I never found the categories to be very obvious (I never knew
what category to look in) so I always used search. But I don't
see any way to search on this new one.
Otherwise, it sounds great ... and I want that Transmogrifier
plug-in with the superfluosity reversal feature. :-)
Ingo Lütkebohle writess, on .py -> .py.txt:

It's not Firefox, or at least it's not Linux Firefox since I can
view a .py file with my firefox here. But Apache didn't want to serve
it as text (initially it popped up an "unknown file type" dialog)
so I had to add a rule in .htaccess: AddType text/plain .py
Could your server's Apache have a rewrite rule that's changing
the name? What happens if you just put filename.py on the server,
outside of Drupal, and try to access it?
