[Gimp-web] Regarding the plug-in registry

Hello,

I am sending this e-mail after this message:

https://lists.xcf.berkeley.edu/lists/gimp-web/2007-October/000765.html

I think I could help with the theming , but there are some sharp points:

- If the pre-2.2 plugins will still work at 2.4, then I dont think
there is a reason to deprecate them, as it would affect more then 90%
of the plugins that -may- still be usefull.

- If the theme should be the one of the main site, then the news box,
or the login box, I think has to be removed, as there is not enough
space in the theme of the main site.

But maybe this is a suggestion:

Everything has to be rebuilt from the core, using this css:
www.gimp.org/style/wgo.css , the one of the main site, and -maybe-
there is a new CMS needed, I don't know about that. The current one
works fine, but for features like uploading images and stuff, it may
be more work to modify the current one, then to write a new one.

I offer my help, if it is needed (I don't know - pretty new to gimp-web).

Regards,
