[Gimp-web] version issues

Hi,

regarding the recent discussion on required GIMP versions, I just had
a registry user request a 2.4 category specifically because some 2.2
plugins would not work with 2.4 and he had to patch them.

This contradicts how I understood Svens mail (i.e. that all 2.x series
plugins work with 2.4 unchanged). Did I misunderstood what Sven said,
or is this is a case of where all "well written" plugins should work
but some don't?

So, what should we about that?  I have now added both a "2.4" and a
"2.x" category to the registry, the latter for cases known to work and
the former for special cases.

btw, I have asked the person in question to post to the
gimp-developers list, outlining what had to be done, so maybe this
will get fixed.
