I've been following this discussion.
To add my small voice to this, I might say that a wiki-based webpage
might be much easier
to keep up-tp-date. With modern wiki engines, it's pretty easy to
require an account for edition,
and get a nice look too with stylesheets. The current process is a
little complicated for occasional
conrtibutors. I know how to use SVN, and I'm sure I could learn how the
html files are generated.
But the overall process remains complicated, you need to checkout files,
update a "source" file,
regenerate HTML files, submit a patch, etc. While, with a wiki engine,
people could just request an
account and quickly fix mistakes whenever they see one.
What do I have to offer beyond words? Well unfortunately I have no
experience setting up a wiki =(
However, I have already contributed to the previous wiki, and if an
information cleanup was necessary,
I would be glad to participe on the website. I don't have time atm for
learning the HTML generators used;
but with a wiki engine I could maintain it.
