Of course, a CMS reduces flexibility as far as a design is concerned.  
May not be an issue, but worth pointing out.

There are GUI interfaces available for svn.  Tortoise is an excellent 
Windows shell extension.  I'd be surprised if there weren't equivalents 
for other platforms.
